I applied online. I interviewed at Evolent (Washington, DC) in Feb 2016
Interview
There was a screening interview, then a phone interview, then an in-person interview with a few people. It happened rather quickly, over the course of two weeks. The first two phone interviews were straightforward. The in-person was also straightforward, no skills test although they were curious about my knowledge of Microsoft's project management software, and my ability to pick up how to use software quickly on the job. I didn't get the job, but only because I lacked as much project management experience they required.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Evolent (Arlington, VA) in Nov 2013
Interview
I applied online and received an email the next day requesting a phone interview. I spoke with a recruiting coordinator about my previous experience and why I was leaving my current position. About 5 days after the phone interview I received an email requesting an in-person interview. I met with the hiring manager and two other people from the team individually. They asked all the usual experience questions with a few "how would you handle this situation" questions. Overall it was very casual and friendly. After the on-site interview they requested references. A few days after that I received a call from the hiring manager offering the position. I took a day to think it over, then made a counter offer on salary which was sent back to HR for approval. I think they came down a bit but I accepted. I submitted all the paperwork and started about 3 weeks later.

Question 1
There wasn't anything out of the ordinary. I met with 3 people from the team one-on-one and they just asked me about myself, my experience, and what I was looking for. It was more like a conversation and I was able to ask questions.
