I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Evolent in Jun 2019
Interview
I was a little worried applying for this position as I had already applied at Evolent once and having had a bad experience where the recruiter emailed me about an interview only to stop replying to my emails. This second time I was determined to have timely communication with the HR recruiter and always responds within an hour of her emails. She generally replied back to me 48 hours later. I had three main problems with this process. First, every month in this four month process the position would change or they would feel I was better suited for a different role and make me start from the beginning of the process. In total I interviewed with 12 people across 5 separate interviews. That is incredibly inefficient. Because the majority of people I was interviewed by actually lived in different time zones, I ended up taking three days off of work for these interviews. One interview took place while I was in vacation in Hawaii (I regret wasting that time). My second issue was the entire length of the process. I began on June 10th and just heard back that I didn’t get the position on October 13th. I find that to be an outrageously lengthy process for anyone to endure. Lastly, after all of this, I didn’t get the position (even though I was quite qualified). I’m sure they picked a candidate they felt was better, but I think after the amount of time and energy I put in to the process, I could have at least received a phone call or personal email. Instead I got the form email over the weekend. It felt like a slap in the face to be honest.
Pretty straightforward and star focused. Was able to meet with a hiring manager to detail past experience and skills. Heard back within a couple weeks and recruiter communicated l. Clear communication was there, and I felt that I was kept in the know throughout the process.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Evolent
Interview
My interview with Evolent was remote and fairly straightforward. The questions were focused on past customer service experience and relevant to the job I applied for. The person I interviewed with was hard to read and I thought I didn’t do well, but still received a job offer shortly after the interview.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Evolent (Texas City, TX) in Feb 2025
Interview
The first initial interview was easy, and the recruiter was very friendly and informative. She went over benefits PTO and what to expect with the position. Also, what type of questions I would be asked in my second interview so I could prepare.
