I was contacted by the HR from the College about the position. I checked out the position and it seemed like a great match. I applied and heard back shortly afterwards. Had an on call interview with a team, I was very impressed by the questions, they were very relevant to the position. Afterwards I was invited for an on-site interview. This included one panel interview and another interview with the college leadership. Again, I was very impressed by the interviewers, they were very professional and asked very relevant questions. My to be manager was also very impressive professional and great person. After onsite I had another call with a college leader in IT. Afterwards the HR called me with the offer and salary. I accepted the offer and was looking forward to joining the wonderful team at Excelsior College. Sadly, I had some very pressing health issues come up during that time and I was unable to join at the desired date. Excelsior College team was great and they waited for me as much as they could and I am very thankful for that. Sadly my health issues took longer than expected to be resolved so I had to let go of the position. It was a great team and a wonderful interview experience. I would have definitely joined had it not been for my health issues at the time. HR and hiring Manager were great throughout the process.
