I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Expeditors in Jun 2008
Interview
first interview was with the supervisor
second interview was with the team lead and manager of group
first interview was to test technical ideas
second interview was to have the manager confirm that you have the "technical skills" and the team lead was to check if your personality would mesh or clash with the group itself. second interview was a bit horrid... they actually QUIZ you on company history (maybe my case but i passed)

First it was a phone screen by the hiring manager then the onsite interview. The onsite interview was supposed to last for an hour but it was only half an hour. I already got the vibe that the manager was not interested but I was still promised a reply even if I was not selected. It has been over a week after I was supposed to get a reply and I have yet to receive anything. I find this to be highly unprofessional and I have lost any respect that I have for Expeditors because of their horrid hiring process.
