I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Express (Pensacola, FL) in Jun 2013
Interview
I filed out an application on line and I received a phone call from the manager about a month later. She was extremely nice and offered me an interview the next day at noon.
The interview was in a group format which I had 6 people (including myself) in the back room roundtable.
She asked about 5 questions dealing with customer service and how to sell your merchandise/idea. She then allowed us to ask her questions about her job and the business. She was very knowledgable about Express and everyone who worked in her store.
The interview took about 30 minutes
Disclaimer- I wrote this right after the interview, therefore I do not know if I got the job yet. Fingers crossed.

Applied online, interviewed in person the next day. Interview was basically a vibe check. More important to apply during peak season (early spring or early fall) when they're hiring the most. Make sure you have availability on the weekend.
Easy and straight forward interview. They ask for your availability and if have fashion experience. Also, asks about previous sales and customer service experience. The job itself is not hard at all.
