The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Express (San Antonio, TX) in Oct 2010
Interview
It was a typical job interview. Came in with a group of 4-5 people, and were asked questions that related to sales, customer assistance, etc. We were told they are hiring 50 people for the holiday season (so does that mean no hours at all?) and that we would get a call in a few days once our background checks and references came back. I waited about a week, then got the call with the job offer and went in the next day for orientation.
I first applied online, and then I got an interview date and time, and then I went into the location for the interview. After that I just waited for a little bit of time and then I was sent an offer that I signed
Applied online, interviewed in person the next day. Interview was basically a vibe check. More important to apply during peak season (early spring or early fall) when they're hiring the most. Make sure you have availability on the weekend.
Easy and straight forward interview. They ask for your availability and if have fashion experience. Also, asks about previous sales and customer service experience. The job itself is not hard at all.
