I applied online. I interviewed at Express in May 2015
Interview
The interview process was pretty easy, it was a group interview
-make sure you stand out even before the interview starts make sure you talk to all the people in your group
The manager or assistant manager will give you the group interview
You will get pretty standard questions like, why do you want to work at express? What experience have you had dealing with customers/people(if you don't have any previous experience that's fine mention volunteer work/ sports/ or clubs if possible). The thing they cared most about in my opinion was your availability, so they will repeat the question of availability - whether your going to school/sports/have a second job etc. They'll also ask you questions on how you would react if you caught a customer stealing. There will also be a portion in the interview where they will ask to "sell" something that your wearing to the interview (shirt, shoes, jewelry).
If the managers think your a good fit they call your references then do a background check
^if you get a good review and you're one of the final candidates then all that's really left for you is your orientation which is usually consists of 1-2 days.
