Interview
Extron came to my college's job fair. I talked to the QA recruiter who said she would contact me for an interview. About 1-3 weeks later, I received an e-mail from their HR asking what time would work best for me to come in for an interview. I scheduled the interview and was interviewed 1:1 by the QA manager - the recruiter at the job fair. It was a very relaxed interview where we talked through some things on my resume and my availability. Then I was interviewed moments later by two technical workers at the company where we talked through my resume and I was asked to whiteboard my solution to an OOP type of question dealing with points and shapes. Overall, the interview process with that QA team was very calm, relaxed, not too technical.
I was then e-mailed about 1 week later to come in for another interview. This one was with HR where there were behavioral questions, questions about my availability, and information was given about the company. I was told they would notify me with an offer, but unfortunately they e-mailed me saying they decided to continue their search. I felt the rejection must've had to do with my lack of availability for the minimum hours of working hours they wanted a week. But, not entirely certain.
