I applied through college or university. I interviewed at ExxonMobil
Interview
On-campus interview followed by an onsite interview at the Baton Rouge facility. Onsite interviews consisted of 2 behavioral based interviews and 1 technical interview. The whole process seemed very disorganized as my interviewer did not receive the technical question from HR and had to make up a question on the spot. At the end of the day I was supposed to find out if I would or would get an offer. However, it took over two months and multiple phone calls (over which they kept telling me they interviewers had been unable to meet to go over my file) before they finally sent me a rejection email in which they spelled my name wrong. Overall a very bad experience.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at ExxonMobil
Interview
I walked up at a career fair to the Exxon Mobile booth and the company representative was very helpful and friendly. I talked with him and he answered all of my questions honestly and directly. It was a very valuable conversation experience.
I applied through my university website. The interview itself lasted fro about 45 minutes. Mostly behavioral type questions. The interviewer had a packet and took notes as the interview was conducted.
