Interview
Interview process was pretty standard. Was called into a store and interviewed with the area manager. He asked the normal interview questions. Where do you see yourself in five years and stuff like that. Was a pretty low stress interview. When it was over he said it would be a couple of weeks before the decision was made. I did call back once just to check on the process and was told I was still in the running for the job. About a month after the interview I received a call telling me I had the job.

Interview
While my interview went very smooth, I soon discovered after starting that most of what was told to me did not come to pass. A new store has a terrible P&L, as most of the main expense of startup shows on it. This means that if your store starts up in February, you will not get a GM bonus for well over a year!

There were no difficult questions for me to answer. I have always been a polished interview, and easily navigated any hazards. When interviewing, it seems as though working harder is more valued than working smarter. Many of the things that I had to do after I started were redudent, mindless tasks.
