Interview
Phone screen followed by a online video interview and logic test and then finally a "Career Day". A career day was essentially a full day of them inviting you at 9 am and having you play stupid time wasting games with the other applicants there. And then one by one come in for a technical and behavioral interview.
Things to know:
They have a binding contract for two years with a non-negotiable salary/benefits
- $CDN 40k for the first year, 45k for the second
- 50% of insurance covered
- minimum wage ($CDN ~ 14/hr) paid for the training days that you come in for
- the two years do not start until the day you are placed at a client site ( they tempt people in with big clients like RBC but do not guarantee a job, you have to do well in your training and then the interview to get the job)
- if you want to leave before the 2 years are over they charge a penalty of 30k (in lieu of the training they provided)

Interview
The interview started with getting asked some question on ym background and was professional and the interviewer was nice. Then after there was an assessment on HackRank with a Java object oriented problem and a leetcode type problem. I ended up messing up the leetcode problem and got rejected but overall this was a good experience with FDM Group.
