In short, this company is a scam. I did not apply on the website but a recruiter reached out to me. I was desperate because I was not getting any closer with any applications, so I agreed to do a recorded video interview and was invited to the assessment day. I didn’t know anything about the company but I went anyways because I wanted the experience.
The day started with an introduction. From this presentation, I found out that after the 6 weeks UNPAID training, there is no certainty. You may get deployed to a client, and even if that happens, it could be a 1 year contract, or a 3 month contract. After that contract, you’re back on the helpless bench. We saw someone getting “placed” and the whole room of sheeps clapped for her as if they’ve all been waiting for a role for the longest time. In addition to this mess, you have NO choice on which client you get placed with, or what industry.
The interview process was terrible. You get 3 interviews. All the interviews I’ve had in the past led to a conversation. These interviews were robotic. They ask you questions and they write down your answers. And they ask you to repeat your answers because they can’t write them down fast enough. All the tests were junior school level. The “numerical test” was number sequence questions, like a 5th grader. A complete joke.
Don’t waste the train fare to go to this assessment day. This company is a recruitment agency, no matter how much they tell you it isn’t. The only good thing that came out of this day was a free lunch, which balanced out the tube fare I spent. What a complete scam.
