Graduate Business Analyst With UI User Experience Design Interview

      Jun 8, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (London, England) in Mar 2020

      Interview

Applied for a Graduate Business Analyst with UI UX design Applications steps: website application; informal phone interview screening; online interview (pre-recorded questions) assessment center; Due to Covid pandemic the assessment center was online. The AC consisted of: general company presentation, about 3 1 to 1 interviews followed by 4 online aptitude tests (Numerical, verbal - game type; Venn diagram test; Another test that was a combination of basic IT knowledge, abstract diagrammatic reasoning, logical reasoning riddles, general business knowledge). The last test was very long and very weird. I did not prepare at all for the assessment center interviews or tests as I didn't want the job. The recruiter who called me to give me feedback said that I successfully passed all the aptitude tests (which is funny because at some point I got bored of working out the questions and just put random answers) and that I was only at 3 points away from passing all interviews. The only negative feedback was that I could have included more examples from my own experience to back up my answers.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

What is your logical approach to solve your own problems? How do you use your connections/ network to achieve a common goal? A time you had to take responsibility for a decision.
