Interview
I applied online in mid-April. An HR staff member in North Carolina emailed about a week later and set up a phone interview for a few days later. We had a great conversation. I was then invited for an in-person interview in DC. Another HR person (also in North Carolina) sent me an email with very detailed instructions and directions to get to the office. However, I did not have any information about the woman who actually interviewed me in the office. The interview was fine, neither amazing nor terrible. After making it all the way there to show up in person (at a very specific time that they needed, so I had to rush from another commitment in a private cab), I just never heard back though. No email from the interviewer or either of the two HR people who emailed me first. I sent two follow-up emails to both of them in the week or so to follow, and never got a response. They never bothered to send a rejection. That was very disappointing.
The interview was very friendly and conversational. There were 2 interviewers and they asked for a lot of examples of XYZ. At the end they had a lot of time blocked for me to ask questions to them.
