I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at FTI Consulting in Sep 2018
Interview
After 4 phone interviews and 6 in-person interviews, it's clear that deep industry experience in a particular sector has little value here. In my view, this is essentially another well-oiled PR firm rather than a comprehensive consulting agency. There is a "Hurry Up & Wait" process of hiring. They tee up qualified candidates, get them quickly through phone and first round interviews, and then you hear NOTHING. No communications from a "communications firm" doesn't send a signal that there's effective management processes in place or good business etiquette here.
Many interviews with different stakeholders (7). Everyone very frindly and polite, however I feel we could have skipped 1-2 interviews, it felt a bit repetitive and I don't think so many stakeholders needed to opine about the cultural fit, as they are not linked with my practice.
