I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FTI Consulting (New York, NY)
Interview
I initially met with consultants and senior consultants, then with directors and MDs, and finally with the SMDs of the groups I'd potentially be joining. Then more SMDs wanted to meet with me. Lots of interviews.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me a lot about projects I'd worked on at previous jobs, even though the projects were several years back and I had been very junior level and only peripherally involved, and for a very short time.
Easy interview process with some data analysis and questions to answer about a case with financial statements. Behavioral questions like why this firm, why consulting, etc. Professional process and not too difficult
The process has a very practical and interesting case study, an introduction about the firm and employee teams. Overall speaking, there have a very good vibe and a friendly working atmosphere.
The interview process for consultant position consisted of one or two online interviews, and several in person interviews with varying level personnel in person and online. Basic questions on background and handling specific situations, as well as experience and knowledge of industry questions.
