-Received a message and call from the recruiter (Contractor).
-Interview arranged 2-3 days later, Excel test passed then proceed further for Interview (If the Excel Test fails, there will be no interview).
-The recruiter mentioned I could follow up with him if there is anything else.
-The overall interview was alright, the hiring manager was engaged and friendly during the whole session. The recruiter followed up on my message and mentioned that they were most likely to have a decision in the week.
-Decided to follow up on the interview outcome after that week, wrote and sent a message to the recruiter. He chose not to reply and ghosted me. A contractor recruiter representing a company demonstrated very unprofessional behavior when it came to engaging candidates after the interview. If you choose not to reply, please do not even mention to follow up with you or let the candidate know that a decision will be made. Please show basic courtesy even after the interview at least, don't hang the candidate there waiting or expecting something.
