I applied through college or university. I interviewed at FactSet (Taguig) in May 2018
Interview
First, you have to take a written exam, this was quite easy as it only covers basic grammar and numerical skills. There is also a practical test about some Excel functions/commands.
After the exam, the first interview is with the HR/Recruitment Officer. This revolves mainly around what's written in your resume. Questions were the typical interview questions- academic background, extra-curricular background (if there's any), and any professional background. Once you passed this interview, you will be endorsed to the hiring managers for interview. For this position, their office is at McKinley West. It was a panel interview comprised of four interviewers. It started with the basic questions/what's written on your resume and then more about your knowledge in the financial concepts.
The feedback was quite fast and I received a job offer for this. The salary was competitive enough (PhP22,000) but I declined the offer because I don't see myself in this career path in the long-run.
Comes in 3 stages with 1 assessment. HR interview >> assessment >> Manager interview >> Senior Manager interview. Once selected, The HR will reach out to you.
The interview process is smooth and I like how they are very accommodating to the applicants.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FactSet in Jul 2025
Interview
The interview had 4 stages. Technical exam, HR interview, Technical Interview, Final Interview. Everything is manageable just listen to what your HR says. Review basic finance question and terminologies. For the final interview, it's most likely aptitude and how do you react on a situation.
Written test
JAM session (you will be asked to talk for a minute)
HR interview ( introduction, basic questions regarding finance, situational questions )
Technical round (1 Part is diffcult finance grill session. 2 part is phone simulation round)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They directly asked about financial terms concepts, i felt like it was an elimination round not a technical round. I think they need a robot who has all the information about finance which is not possible. 8-10 are in the panel. One of a kind technical interview.
