Grilled us on our background details and our achievements and qualities and other things. To see how a candidate behaves under stress. Advisors are under lot of pressure due to odd shifts and difficult clients sometimes. So it's obvious they want someone who can handle that stress positively.

It was a campus recruitment. Had one written test at the college and and two rounds of interview in the office. I was asked basic questions related to stock markets and Finance.

It was a bit tough. Initially there is no theme of questions in the interview. They ask you whatever they like, it all depends upon the interviewer. One interviewer asks one type of questions, whereas the other asks his own. So it doesn't depend on the JD at all.
