I went through a structured three-step interview process with this company, as outlined by their LinkedIn and official materials. Each step went well, with positive feedback, including a VP expressing anticipation of me joining. However, unexpectedly, the recruiter added an unscheduled interview with another director, outside the stated process (!). This last-minute meeting was rushed, took longer than planned, and I could not fully engage. Despite previous positive signals, the entire process was abruptly reversed after that step. When I asked for clarification, I received vague and inconsistent reasoning, contradicting prior feedback. Additionally, internal role confusion was apparent, with comments suggesting misaligned responsibilities. Combined with indications of a high-pressure environment and lack of employee focus, the process suggested a disorganized and inconsistent approach to hiring.
