Ghosted. I applied and got a phone screen request within a couple of days. I scheduled a phone screen and spoke with the recruiter and she came off as if I was annoying her or burdening her. At the end she said thanks and that she’d follow up to see what the hiring manager thought. I’ll be completely honest, I’m pretty sure that it didn’t workout but at least show a little courtesy with a formal rejection email. The company is growing but this type of behavior reflects poorly on the team’s scalability.
