      Customer Experience Ambassador Interview

      Aug 5, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Fair in Jul 2019

      Interview

Submitted application, set up a phone call, heard back the same day and had to take a old-school personality assessment that took about an hour to complete. Set up a video interview, then got the job offer. I declined due to the offer not being competitive/sub-living wage for the area I'm in. I was told on my first call that there was wiggle room for the offer, but upon bringing that up I was told there wasn't anything they could do to increase. The only real negative beyond that was the personality quiz, which felt really archaic.

      Interview

The process took about a week. I received an email the same day I submitted the application( I was impressed by the quick follow up) to schedule a phone interview. During the phone interview, they went over the responsibilities of position and company benefits. If you do well with the phone interview, you will be scheduled for the next step, Video Chat Interview. During video chat interview, they will ask you more about your resume. Remember to smile and show your enthusiasm. Lastly, if you do well with the video chat interview, you have to complete an online assessment. Answer questions accordingly. After completion of all these steps and management feels you're a great fit, you will be made an offer to join the Fair family.

      Customer Experience Ambassador Interview

      May 30, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fair in May 2019

      Interview

After applying, I got an email to enter my availability so Fair could conduct a phone screening interview. Most companies tend to email you after doing this to confirm a time so that you know when to expect a call. Fair didn't do this and instead, I got a call during the window I had entered. When I was unable to pick up my phone, I got called back 2 more times, before they left a message. They then called me back again an hour later, in which I was able to answer the call. The actual screening was fairly quick, but I was told to expect an email the following week as to when the next interview would occur. The following week, I didn't get an email regarding the interview until 20 minutes before it was scheduled. I wasn't able to answer the call since I was at work and was already annoyed at how this company handles their communication. I got an email 2 hours later asking for my availability. I then got the same email the following morning around 9, and an hour later, got a different email stating that they were no longer considering my candidacy. While some of these situations I could've just answered the phone or immediately replied to the email, I just found that Fair was just extremely unorganized and just had a poor grasp on communication. I expect to at least get a confirmation of what time an interview before the actual date so I can plan accordingly. Based on some of the other reviews here, it seems like this is not new. So just be aware that they will probably be late to the interview or just not communicate something important.
