The interview was strange. Zoom interviews are awful. The natural vibe I usually get during an interview is gone. Do I really on theory? That’s boring for the interviewer. I state in my cover letter and resume that I am a first time teacher and I got a weird vibe like this surprised them and that they weren’t thrilled by that (even though I have years of substitute teaching, the required student teaching experience, and a 4.0 in grad school).
