The most unprofessional and disrespectful hiring process I've ever experienced. They put me through 5 rounds of interviews across 2 weeks with people from the same team where I had to repeatedly answer the same questions. But the interviews went well, they gave great feedback. After the FIVE rounds of interviews (for a Specialist role!) they asked me to complete a project with 3 different assignments. Not only were the assignments incredibly time consuming with ridiculously vague instructions, they were also asking me to do work for a future project of theirs -- with no indication of how or to what purpose my work would be used. It felt pretty exploitative. They could easily be taking advantage of interviewees' ideas and intellectual property for their own use. The best part? They demanded a 24 hour turnaround time. I have no problem completing assignments as part of an interview process, but companies typically give you around a week with the expectation of just a few hours work. A 24 hour turnaround time is unheard of, particularly for a project as time consuming as theirs. After I turned in the assignment, they demanded follow up/revision work as if I was their employee and they were entitled to my time. Still, I turned in the follow up, and then I received no response. No feedback, no thank you, nothing. I follow up a few times, they say the team is still deliberating. One month later, they send a quick note that the team has just now realized that they're actually seeking to fill a Managerial position rather than a Specialist one. Amazing. How disorganized and clueless do you have to be to waste people's time for 3 months just to come to the conclusion that you have no idea what you're doing? Major red flags all around. If this was the recruiting process, I don't even want to know what it's like to work for them.
