I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group in Oct 2011
Interview
Interview process started with the opportunity overview and assistance from the company. They really make sure you are a good fit for the position by asking very open ended questions. Second interview was with training manager and district manager which was more of the same, lots of open ended questions. Third and final interview is with your spouse, offer is then made. Know why you want to do this and be confident in your answers. Have a good answer to how you expect to handle low income months when owning your own business.

Straight forward. I was already an agent at the time and was interested in the switch. Farmers was easy with onboarding and getting set up on their system. I have enjoyed their products and service

Question 1
What kind of experience I had and what sales techniques I use.
Was basic and tedious asking me questions about my prior work history so make sure that I understood the job role. Overall it was not difficult to formulate an answer to the questions.
The interview was professional and conversational. The agent clearly explained the role, expectations, and growth opportunities. I was asked about my communication skills, work ethic, and goals. Overall, it felt welcoming, informative, and focused on long-term potential rather than pressure
