I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Riverside, CA)
Interview
The interview was really nothing to worry about. They want to know why you would be interested in working in the insurance industry, and they ask a few simple questions to see if you would be a good fit for the job. Mainly though, the interview process is explaining to you how the job is going to work. The one piece of advice I would give is to remember that these people do sales for a living. The won't be too idealistic, but they're still trying to sell the position to you. So you had best come with as many technical questions as you can think of if you really want to know what type of job you'll be looking at

Question 1
What kind of experience I had and what sales techniques I use.
Was basic and tedious asking me questions about my prior work history so make sure that I understood the job role. Overall it was not difficult to formulate an answer to the questions.
The interview was professional and conversational. The agent clearly explained the role, expectations, and growth opportunities. I was asked about my communication skills, work ethic, and goals. Overall, it felt welcoming, informative, and focused on long-term potential rather than pressure
