I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Grand Rapids, MI) in Sep 2021
Interview
The interview process was absolutely ridiculous. The interview was done remotely which was fine. However, the interview only consisted of three potential candidates and eight supervisors. The supervisors each took the time to explain something about themselves and why they work for the company. The total interview was slotted to be about two and a half hours. The first forty minutes or so covered the supervisors talking about themselves and then we split up with two supervisors to do our one on one interview. The whole process was over the top. I was being interviewed by two supervisor's in Arizona. I live in Michigan. I would never have any contact with them after the interview. Why would I be interviewed by someone from another state rather than my own potential supervisor? Also, wasting the time with eight random supervisor's talking about the company was really stupid. I exited the interview halfway through it and said screw it. That is how ridiculous the interview process was.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked to give an example of a time that I had an emotional connection to a former work place and how did I apply that to my work culture environment?
I asked if that was really the question. I was already annoyed with the whole interview process, so I just exited the interview. What kind of a question is that?

Great interview but friendly staff. I got the job and training has been great so far. Still learning alot it is not as easy as it seems. But the training is very good and we learn something new everyday.
Good experience -interview was difficult but they allowed plenty of time to get questions and nerves out , not your average interview questions are intensive so be prepared to be thrown curve balls
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group in Jun 2025
Interview
This company is notorious for putting you through the whole process and then pulling away last minute. Claims they only needed one interview, however they lied and brought me back in for another interview. Unprofessional and ultimately went with someone is fluent in being bilingual. If that is what you need then be transparent from the beginning.
