The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Salt Lake City, UT) in Nov 2010
Interview
The lady wanted to get to know me like I was a blood relative. She seemed really lonely and in a way like she wanted to give away her business the most worthy candidate. She was very eccentric and seemed not at all concerned that I needed a job right now.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Tulsa, OK)
Interview
Straight forward. I was already an agent at the time and was interested in the switch. Farmers was easy with onboarding and getting set up on their system. I have enjoyed their products and service
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What kind of experience I had and what sales techniques I use.
Was basic and tedious asking me questions about my prior work history so make sure that I understood the job role. Overall it was not difficult to formulate an answer to the questions.
The interview was professional and conversational. The agent clearly explained the role, expectations, and growth opportunities. I was asked about my communication skills, work ethic, and goals. Overall, it felt welcoming, informative, and focused on long-term potential rather than pressure
