Interview
The interview process was more informational, than an interactive exchange of information. The broker explained the licensing process, a typical day in the agency, and how to study for the state insurance exam. The broker also mentioned the in office resources available to assist the candidate in studying for the state exam.
The recruiter and both people interviewed with at different agencies were wonderful. Intelligent kind and very positive. They're opening new agencies and are adding staff. One interview was in person other tele.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Saint Paul, MN) in Apr 2017
Interview
Very friendly and informative. They answered all my questions honestly and offered many suggestions for me to "look into" before moving forward. They wanted to ensure that this was a good fit before moving forward. The question below "40 Policies a month" is very achievable: 1 home/renters policy, 2 autos, 1-3 recreational vehicles (motorcycle, boat, snowmobile, etc) and life policies for each family member = 5-8 policies per household x 8 households per month = 40-64 policies
