I met with FAST Enterprises at a university career fair in October 2018. A couple of days later I was contacted with a request for documents such as a resume, transcript, and some references. I was then invited to do a phone interview. The phone interview lasted about 30 minutes and I was asked basic behavioral questions as well as some very simple technical questions. During this interview you are expected to seem excited and slightly knowledgeable about the company so I would suggest studying them a little bit. You should also get the point across that you are a team player. About a week after the phone interview I was invited to Denver, CO for an interview at FAST Enterprises HQ. The trip (plane ride, hotel, transport within Denver) was arranged and paid for by FAST. I flew in the day before my interview and flew out a couple hours after my interview concluded. The interview started at 9:30. I sat in the lobby until an HR rep came to me. She gave me a 20 minute tour of the building. There are a lot of really cool things (such as a gym, kitchen, and a fun little hangout area). After the tour, I was brought into a conference room where the HR rep allowed me to ask any questions I had. After questions, I was given a 30 minute, 30 question MENSA style test. At the end of the test there were 2 pseudocode questions, I would recommend answering those first. After the 30 minutes, the woman cam back into the room and grabbed the test and said the interviewer would be right in with me. A few minutes late,r an Implementation Consultant came into the room with the graded test. He Started with asking me a couple of behavioral questions. After that, he asked what questions I had. I think my questions took longer than his behavioral questions but he was more than happy to answer them. After I was done asking questions, he asked me to stand up at the white board so we could work through some logic and pseudocode questions. This portion is more to see how you work and talk through problems I answered two logic questions and two pseudocode questions. He was willing to give any help I needed and talk through the problems with me. After the problem solving portion was over, I was allowed to ask any more questions I had. After I was done, the HR rep came back into the room and asked if any more questions needed answered. She then invited me to lunch with a different IC and another interviewee who she said was not my competition. From what I've seen, lunch seems to be a strong indicator of whether or not you did well during the interview. During lunch, be sure to seem interested, excited, and inquisitive about the company. After the lunch concluded, I was brought back to the hotel and then the airport shortly after. About 2 weeks after the interview, I was contacted with an offer. I accepted and am very excited to be starting my career with FAST this summer!
