I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Fastly (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2025
Interview
The recruiter was organized, professional and communicated well. I had 8 rounds of interviews. My last round was not professional. In fact, I would say the C-suite executive who interviewed me is a liability to the company. He started the interview by telling me a story about a former employee who he referred to as a "snowflake". He said this employee had made a health and wellness complaint against the company, but that he was now happy to report that the company had finally gotten this employee out and that the workplace was much better since this employee's departure. As a C-suite executive of a public company, this person is not a good representation of Fastly, nor should he be sharing this type of sensitive information. He is a liability and he's biased.
