There were a total of 8 interviews over a 3-4 week period. First interview was with a recruiter; second interview was a high level technical/culture fit interview with a SRE, The 3rd and 4th interviews were group interviews with senior engineers on various aspects of design and coding. A VP for engineering conducted the 5th interview on cross organizational interaction with the 6th interview with the CTO on WASM, WASI and contributing to opensource projects. The 7th interview was with a HR VP on culture with all the standard soft skill questions (what are you passionate about? Describe a time when you had difficulty with a coworker. etc) The final interview was with the hiring manager around how to handle challenges the group was facing. After a month of interviews it took another month for them to say they were reevaluating the job requirements and would let me know once they reset expectations of the position.
