I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx (Cincinnati, OH) in Nov 2015
Interview
This interview was fairly straightforward, I met with one of the other operations managers, and a production supervisor. Most of the questions are what you would expect for a typical interview. I can't emphasize enough that you really need to use the BAR format when you answer the questions. They probably asked about 15 questions, alternating back-and-forth and taking a lot of notes. Don't let the constant note taking throw you off though, they explained that everyone gets asked the same questions, and they have to enter the info into their system later on with your responses. The interview took about 45 minutes to an hour to complete.
I received a follow-up phone call about a week and a half later with an offer and proposed shift schedule. There weren't any salary negotiations, because those are handled up at FedEx headquarters, and the hiring authority only had some say in the salary range.
