Interview was very awkward. Both interviewers did not introduce themselves or ask me to introduce myself. They immediately launched into textbook-style questions. They were both kind, but very awkward. Very strange experience.

I applied online, and was called by a recruiter for an initial phone screening. From there we set up a time for a pair of interviewers to call me. They asked some basic questions about what the Federal Reserve does, as well as some basic behavioral and technical questions. At the end they answered a few questions from me about the work environment, but didn't seem very knowledgeable on the specifics of the position. The initial recruiter called back following this second interview and extended an invitation to come to DC for the next round of interviews. I accepted, they took down some of my information and provided me with a date, and said they would follow-up with my flight tickets. Despite my calls and emails, I never heard anything again, leaving me without a follow-up interview or the PTO days I took to fly out there. If this is indicative of how they treat their employees, I would say I dodged a bullet.
