I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments in Nov 2011
Interview
Applied online. Recieved phone call next day to schedule a phone interview with their recruiter. Phone interview verified qualities and qualifications the manager was seeking. Phone interview lasted about thirty minutes. Process was intense but pleasant. Recruiter called back the following day and set up an in person interview with hiring manager. In person interview consisted of sitting with manager and assist. manager for about 2 1/2 hours. Questions covered everything from discriptions of previous positions to how I would handle situations at this firm. Also asked what salary I would be looking for . Said they would be in touch in a few weeks, as they just started interviewing. Received a phone call a few weeks later that I was not chosen.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Boston, MA) in Nov 2025
Interview
Brief 13 minute phone call (interviewer showed up late). Interview was very rushed and unprofessional, interviewer cut me off multiple times and did not give me an opportunity to ask him any questions. Keep in mind I was recommended to him by a branch manager. Very disappointed by this first interview round! Besides the interviews extreme haste, the interview went well. Use STAR method and you'll be ok.
