I applied in-person. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2017
Interview
First you have to do their web camera interview, because obviously, their time is more important than yours. They do NOT hire externally, so don't waste your time. You are just giving them their requisite number of "candidates." It's fake. My in person interview went great, one Consultant even said, I hope you get the position. Buuuut....I checked in with the recruiter who told me, we look forward to touching base with you when we've completed all of the interviews. I never heard from Fidelity again - they don't even give you the courtesy of a thank you or letting you know the status of your process once you give them their numbers in terms of interviews on the books. The BEST part is that they then had the nerve to email me a request for feedback because....Gaining insight into our candidates’ experiences is what allows us to continue to innovate and improve our recruitment process and ensures that we consistently exceed expectations as a best-in-class talent acquisition function.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Burlingame, CA) in Oct 2025
Interview
Horrible. Spent 1 hour asking me what I do outside of work besides asking me my qualifications for the job. I was expecting more especially since there was two senior managers in the meeting. Bummer because I hear great things about Fidelity and this interview do not show that.
Starts off with a phone call from the talent acquisition member, followed by the second round zoom interview with the hiring manager, then the third and final round was with the Branch Manager.

Question 1
You can prep as much as you want for answering questions, but the biggest takeaway is having questions prepped for them.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments in Mar 2022
Interview
It was great. They asked really good questions and explained the job thoroughly. The interviewer was nice and answered all the questions. However, their follow-up wasn't the best. I enjoyed the interview, it was easy to connect with the interviewer.
