      LEAP Program Systems Analyst Interview

      Oct 18, 2017
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments in Oct 2017

      Interview

The time between when I first applied (mid August) and heard back (early October) from them was about 1.5 months. After that, you do a digital interview where you record yourself responding to questions, mainly behavioral. About 2 weeks passed and I never heard back, so I sent a follow up email. I heard back from them the next day giving me 2 times for a second round phone interview with an HR rep. One of them was for later that day and one was for the following day. I responded back verifying the time for the following day, but never received a call. I sent another follow up email about that and the lady apologized for not getting back to me before the dates she gave me... which is just weird. We had the interview a couple days after that. It seemingly went very well, and was told that they would love to have a final interview with me, 45 minute behavioral and 45 minute technical. The date she gave was about 1.5 months away, but I had some time constraints due to expiring job offers so she said she would find somebody who could do the interview within the next couple weeks and let me know the next day. The next day comes (a Friday) and there was no response. I sent a follow up email the following Tuesday asking if any progress had been made in setting a new date. I received an email in the morning the next day saying that they were no longer hiring for this position for the rest of the year, but would be hiring again in March/April. Overall, I think it would be a great company to work at and the people I did have a chance to talk to were very nice; however, their communication is the worst I have ever seen and incredibly frustrating.

      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (New York, NY) in Nov 2018

      Interview

The process began with an online application, then a hirevue video where you are asked 6 general questions about Fidelity and why the leap program is where you want to be, followed a week later by a phone screening, I was then offered a f2f interview, which was some tech and some character questions. If you study a bit, the process should be a breeze. Show your enthusiasm about the program and research it online. The interviewer and the HR person we're very nice and the interview was very relaxed.
