I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Fieldwire in Nov 2020
Interview
Fieldwire's interview process was fair and sensible. It started with a phone call with a technical recruiter. This was then followed by three technical rounds: a live coding challenge, a take-home coding challenge, and a virtual onsite consisting of two more technical sessions. I also had the opportunity to speak with the CEO as a final step in the interview process.
Fieldwire was also very professional while I was interviewing. They were quick in their communication and transparent about what the process would look like!

I applied online. I interviewed at Fieldwire (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
Interview process seemed normal at first. Until it came time to do a "Project" styled assessment. The project was poorly structured with not many guidelines. I completed the project with well structured and thought out code and then was ghosted by the company. Complete waste of time. I suggest if they try to get you to do a project you save your time and go elsewhere. This pattern is prevalent in many of the other negative reviews.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fieldwire in Oct 2025
Interview
Recruiter was very quick to follow up on all interviews. Started off with a quick recruiter call, going over very typical questions about job experience and salary expectations. Next interview was a 1 hour session solving a LeetCode-style question with the hiring manger. Then there are two options: (1) a take-home challenge followed by a 3 hour virtual onsite covering a 1 hour take-home challenge extension, a 1 hour technical deep dive into a recent project, and a 1 hour systems design question OR (2) a 3.5 hour virtual onsite covering a 1.5 hour live coding challenge, a 1 hour technical deep dive into a recent project, and a 1 hour systems design question. Then lastly, there was a meet & greet with the VP of Engineering
