Interview
HR Coordinator reached out on Linkedin regarding an Account Manager remote position. Chatted on the phone with them and scheduled the second interview the same day with the hiring manager. Had the interview with the hiring manager that seemed to have gone so well. I was informed I will receive the feedback end of week (4 days after my interview) once they interview the rest of the candidates. To my surprise, I received the rejection no-reply email 24 hours later stating that they chose another candidate. The feedback was that I lacked software sales experience which I clearly have in my resume and worked at for 4 years. I really didn't like the decision as I suspect it to be something more than just experience...

Question 1
What do you like about your current role and what do you hate about your current role?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Fieldwire (Charleston, SC) in Feb 2025
Interview
Although the interview process only consisted of 3 interviews, it took the hiring/AM leadership team 4 weeks to complete. The interviews were very standard - one high level role description interview, a deeper dive into a my background/questions, and the third was a role play. My only issue with the entire process is that they provided a role-play scenario and then completely switched up the role-play details making it difficult to hit all their requirements. Overall it was a good interview process, but it should of taken a 1.5 weeks, not 4 weeks for a total of 2 hours of interviews.
