Had a 15 minute phone screen with a recruiter. The questions were purely metrics based. They wanted to know what volume of metrics I was held to vs how I performed. This is great for individuals coming from big tech, but harder when at a small start-up where the focus is less on pure metrics and more on building relationships, getting buyin, end-to-end process building etc. Anyone can fake metrics. It's interviews like these that lead to bad recruiting hires.
