Interview
I'm surprised that Figma requires a take-home text for a UX Writer role or any UX role. I begrudgingly did the test, even though the exercise did not showcase the specific design system skills being asked for in the job description.
Recruiting screen > Hiring manager > Writing assignment > Panel presentation followed by 4 back to back interviews > generic rejection email
No one ever referenced or asked about the writing test after I completed it. I did not receive feedback about the panel stage, and when I followed up with 2 different people I did not get a reply at all, and this is after going through final round conversations.
