Interview
Started with a screen with HR/sourcer, then a hiring manager screen, and then a role play and one-on-one conversations with potential peers on the team. Everyone was very warm and great to speak with! They all had pretty strong feedback for me and seemed to express that I'd be moving forward to the final stages.
However, after a few days since my last interview, I received a generic email message from the recruiter saying that I was no longer being considered for the role. When I responded asking for some feedback to improve, I didn't receive any response.

Standard sales questions.
The interview comprised several rounds, including presentations and stakeholder interviews with various departments and managers, and took place over more than a month. Multplie delays too. The interview process could be streamlined a lot more.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Figma (New York, NY) in Apr 2024
Interview
The interview process was long but mostly positive until the end. The long time employees there were some of the nicest and friendliest people I've interviewed with. Two weeks after my final interview and reference calls, we were negotiating the offer, start date and everything seemed great. The executive team needed to approve my offer and that was when they decided that, even though everyone I met with was excited to work with me, I did not have enough experience. It shows the executives do not trust their team or the interview process. My relevant experience was more than double what was listed on the job description and a lack of experience could have been determined upon the initial review of my resume- Instead it wasted my time, their time, and my references time. I would be very hesitant in investing time interviewing here, especially for a sales role because you may get blocked at the last second by someone you've never met with.
