I applied via LinkedIn and heard back from a recruiter in a few days. From there, we set up a phone interview that was cancelled without notice (calendar invite was just deleted). A day later, the recruiter reached out to me and said they got sick and couldn't make the call which is why they deleted the invite....okay I guess. We finally get on the phone (she is 10 minutes late to a 30-minute call - doesn't even acknowledge it once she gets on) and go through the phone screen. After a few minutes, it was clear that she was just reading off a script and checking boxes as I spoke (I could hear the paper being flipped and typing simultaneously.) All in all I thought I did well. She said she would call me back and that she liked my answer and would be in touch....that never happened. I spent two years in sales recruitment and can appreciate things get busy but come on. But, in my opinion, probably the most unprofessional recruitment process I've ever been a part of.
