I was sent a case study before any screening or interview, which actually provided good insight into the role. After submitting the case, I was invited to meet with the hiring manager. They canceled our initial meeting, asked to reschedule, and then rescheduled again. They then no-showed the confirmed call. I followed up afterward and received no response. A few days later, I got a templated rejection email.
It was a disappointing and unprofessional experience. If the recruiting process is this disorganized, I can only imagine what team dynamics and internal communication are like.
