I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at First American Financial Corporation (Bengaluru) in Nov 2016
Interview
It was a pool campus drive held at Cambridge Institute Of Technology for recruitment of 2017 batch B.E students(CSE, ISE, ECE & EEE) with 60% in B.E.
The drive was on 10th of November 2016. and had 4 rounds in total:
1. Pre - Placement Talk.
2. Written Test.(Aptitude + Technical).
3. Group Discussion.
4. Technical face to face.
5. HR face to face.
Package: 4 LPA
The interview process was as follows:
1. There were people from nearly 4 colleges totaling around 580 people, There was a pre-placement talk in the beginning for around 40 mins.
2. Written test(pen and paper) comprising of both Aptitude as well as technical questions. 75 mins time for solving 60 questions & the toughness was moderate.
3. Group Discussion round was having all the current topics(ex: Demonetization of currency notes in India, Whether relationship between India & Pak should be peace or war...)
Too many people where filtered off in these first 2 rounds and out of those 580 people who appeared only 27 cleared the GD.
4. The technical panel had an experience of nearly 10 years, so yeah you can expect a lot of technical questions and major requirement was coding/programming, even though if you are from a non-Computer Sc background.
We had 3 technical rounds in total, where in every round different panelists would test our skills and knowledge(both theory and coding).
For me most of the questions were from my resume regarding my freelance projects and other stuffs.
But for other people it was purely coding and logical skills.
Knowledge of C# and .Net was an extra point as they are working on it in the company.
And by the end of all the Technical rounds, 5-6 people were shortlisted for HR face to face.
5.You can expect a lot of technical questions and even can be asked to write code in HR round, so be ready. A guy who is enthusiastic for latest technologies is desired in this round.
At the end of the day 3-4 were shortlisted.
All the best guys :)

Interview
Pretty smooth, if you are fresher, just be honest and show the willingness to learn and contribute. It's okay to say I don't know if you really don't know. The team is supportive but not ideal if you're looking for an IT job
