Interview
The interview process was fairly straightforward, a strict set of questions from each team during the process. They clearly have a set way of doing interviews and do the same interview for each candidate, which is a fair way of doing the interviews.
The issue I have with this company is that they reached out to me first and asked if I was interested in the Senior Product Manager role. I was looking at the time so I told them I was. We set expectations in the screening call around the interview process, role requirements, and salary expectations. At the end of the interview process while I was waiting for an offer, they told me that actually they didn't have a Senior Product Manager role and instead wanted to offer me a Product Manager II role at a lower salary. This bait and switch tactic is extremely disrespectful, not only to me but to the team's time. The team took time out of their days to interview me for a role that I was not interested in, and nobody ever checked in with me during the process to tell me that the role had changed.
I would not trust First American throughout this process; if they are dishonest and disrespectful about role and responsiblity to their candidates that they reached out to recruit, how do you think they treat their employees? This was not a good look and I declined the offer.

Interview
Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and we set up a call to discuss two potential roles. He then was sending my information over to the hiring managers and was going to move me on to the hiring manager interview for both roles so we could decide which one I'd be a better fit for to continue in the interview process.
I was ghosted and never heard back from the recruiter.
