Extremely Unprofessional Experience – A Complete Waste of Time
I usually don’t leave reviews, but the level of unprofessionalism I experienced from this company's HR and hiring process compels me to warn others.
From the beginning, I was very clear about my expectations regarding the role and compensation. The HR assured me that everything was aligned and that they were excited to move forward. Based on that trust, I agreed to go through an exhausting and intense interview process that included two rounds of DSA and real-world problem-solving followed by a detailed system design round. I spent hours preparing, attending, and performing in these interviews. I gave it my best and received excellent feedback after every single round (confirmed by the HR themselves).
Naturally, I was expecting a decent offer that reflected the effort, skills, and preparation I had put into the process.
But here’s where the real joke begins.
They scheduled a final round they called a “Tech Offer Discussion.” I was told it would involve the HR and their manager. Not only did they show up 15 minutes late while I waited on the call in silence, but when the manager finally joined, he casually said “Give me 5 minutes to do some calculations.” Five minutes later, he came back with an offer that was lower than my current salary. I was absolutely stunned. After all that effort and glowing feedback, they offered a downgrade. What was the point of this entire process then?
This is beyond disrespectful. It's deceptive.
More issues with this process:
The HR team was all smiles and fake promises throughout, clearly just trying to get candidates through the pipeline.
Total lack of transparency about compensation until the very last second.
No respect for candidates’ time—they’ll keep you waiting, reschedule without notice, and leave you in the dark about what’s next.
They’re running a bait-and-switch game: lure top candidates in with false promises, get free tech evaluations out of them, and then lowball them with insulting offers.
Zero regard for the candidate’s current position or expectations, even though they pretended to care during the initial conversations.
If you value your time, energy, and self-respect, stay far away from this company and its HR team. They do not value talent, they do not communicate honestly, and they clearly have no intention of offering competitive packages even when the candidate checks all the boxes.
Terrible experience. Would not recommend to anyone.
