The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at First Republic (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
After several rounds of interviews, including a full day onsite, I was "ghosted" by FRB. I find this very disrespectful of a candidate's time, particularly as a finalist for the role. It takes 3 minutes to send an update email. After trying to reach out the recruiting and hiring team, I found out the role had been filled via LinkedIn some time later.
During the interview process, I found everyone I spoke with to be very pleasant and generally grateful for the opportunities they had found at FRB. Employees were very much go-getters who believed in the direction of the bank. The company values were heavily emphasized. Cultural fit seemed to be very important, though for such a "people first" organization, I found the way I've been treated since to be the opposite.
