Sonar Interview Question

First part: equals/hashCode contract, some general Java chat that I can't recall - basics really Second part: Build a small interpreter for a subset of arithmetic expressions. Sounds tough, but the problem space is constrained enough that it's pretty straightforward if you know a bit how compilers work. The engineers are also very friendly and helpful throughout this step. Third part: For 2 hours HR reads questions like "tell me about a time you had a crisis at work and how you dealt with it" from the screen. Whenever I asked a clarifying question, they just read the same scripted question again. Feels like they don't understand what they're asking themselves and it's some scripted framework they evaluate your answers/reactions against.
