Interview
They reached out to me for an online group interview that was just a presentation of what they were looking for. At then end you complete a "survey," which was really some screening questions, and then they give you a call that evening for a 2nd interview (one on one) if they like you.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Fisher Agencies (Mansfield, MA) in Aug 2020
Interview
Multiple rounds, largely impersonal "webinar" style. One meeting with a mid-manager was detailed, friendly, and seemed like a genuine opportunity. In my final interview, I raised concerns that other interviewees and previous workers have brought up such "Optional" meetings being punished heavily for non-attendance, as well as expectations of workload, hours, and the nature of sales leads being misrepresented in initial pre-interview process. My phrasing was non-combative, intentionally, to allow the interviewer to address them calmly. The interviewer became disproportionately defensive and began to badger me. It seemed to me that the advertised corporate culture was a bait-and-switch.
